circa 1860, with round 6in. barrel, pinched pillar fore-sight, octagonal breech, plunge ejector, plain cylinder with external ratchet locking, plain open frame, hinged loading gate with frame-mounted spring, double action mechanism and smooth bag-shaped ebony grips, the whole in the original 'in the white' finish with only mild staining
